Addison Ray Lipscomb was born on June 10, 1988 in Charlotte, NC. He was the youngest son of Trimmel Lipscomb and Kenneth Lipscomb. He entered eternal rest on June 8, 2022.

In pursuit of his education, he attended McKee Road Elementary, Devonshire Elementary, Eastway Middle, and North Mecklenburg High School. Addison loved his family wholeheartedly and appreciated the value of security. He didn't have the pleasure of fathering his own children but the love he had for his nephews was immeasurable, uncle babies is what he would call them. Addison was loved and cherished by everyone that knew him.

He attended countless visits at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist, Greater Mt. Zion Church, and Harbor Baptist. While growing in his faith he later became baptized. Addison's faith was strong as well as the love he had for the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ann Davis Lipscomb and Raymond Lipscomb, Uncles Raymond Anthony Lipscomb, Prentiss Davis Lipscomb, and Aunt Lavoris Lipscomb-Benjamin. Addison is survived by his mother Trimmel Lipscomb and his father Kenneth Lipscomb; sister, Jessica Lipscomb, brother Kenneth Lipscomb, Jr., maternal grandmother Millicent Green; paternal grandfather; Tracy Johnson, uncles; Steven Reese (Tonya), Willie Reese, Terry Green, Joseph Green (Tamika), Johnny Green (Tish), Charles Lipscomb, Randy Lipscomb (Dorothy), and TJ Johnson, aunts; Neaji Green, Linda Lipscomb, Rhonda Johnson, nephews Tymere and Tyrell and a host of cousins and friends.
