Mr. Albert Floyd McCorkle, 61 of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on May 8, 1958.

Albert, know affectionately by family and friends as "Nuck," was the proud son of the late Edna Mae Johnson McCorkle and John H. McCorkle.  He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah Johnson McCorkle.

Albert was a former employer for many years at Weyerhaeuser Box Company.  He then worked part time with Total Care Cleaning Center.

Albert was a devoted and loving father to his children and grandchildren.  The love he gave to each of them exhibited all the characteristics of a true man that in all he did was for his children, grandchildren and family to have the best possible life he could give and provide for.

Family was a word that made Albert's heart smile because it was the soul of his family and friends that got him through his times of sickness and would pull him through stronger each time.  He was a real man who spoke  truth whether it came out like you wanted to hear it or not, it came with love.

Albert had a love of old school music.  He loved to sit on the porch and listen to it, and also while fishing with his uncles and friends.

Albert lived life fully carrying the love of his mother whom he loved and honored dearly throughout his life.  We will miss him dearly, yet he left a blueprint of love with each of us that will live on forever.

He leaves behind to mourn and cherish all of his fond memories two sons, Damien Coxton and Jalen Fuller; two daughters, Shamekia Coxton, Kimberly Coxton (Chris Broadie); one sister, Brenda Johnson Howard (JB); one brother, Milton Johnson; two half-sisters, Donna Patterson, and Teresa Woods; five grandchildren, Sierra Coxton, Preston, Khloe, Gavin and Kelsey Broadie; all of Charlotte; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish and always remember him.
