Mrs. Alice Mae Pearce, 79, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Atrium Health Pineville.

Alice Mae Pearce, daughter of the late Alice Davis and the late Willie Davis, was born November 30, 1945, in York, South Carolina.  She departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Alice Pearce was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.  She was a caregiver and safe haven to many family members and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, John Pearce; son, Thomas Pearce; daughter, Ella Mae Pearce; and son, John Lee Pearce.

Left to mourn her loss is her daughter, Chiquita Gurley; eleven grandchildren, Tanisha Bolden, Cori Pearce, Brittany Westbrook, Shaquita Pearce, Thomas Pearce, Travis Pearce, Clarence Pearce, Colin Pearce, Adri'eona Alexander, Ken'Yuna Gurley, and Alaija Gurley; sixteen great-grandchildren;  three sisters, Betty Douglas (Charles), Patricia Davis and Willette Digsby and one brother, Thomas Davis (Frontz), all of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
