Mr. Allen Ragster Dawkins Jr., 82 of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 22, 1938 in Fort Mill, SC to the late Allen Ragster Dawkins Sr. and the late Edna McKinney Fulwylie Dawkins.

Mr. Dawkins attended Little Hope Church, which is now Walls Memorial AME Zion Church.

He is preceded in death by his son, Harry A. Dawkins.

Survivors include his wife, Lovella Bunch Dawkins; 3 daughters, Katelynn Noel Dawkins, Annette Dawkins, Ham, Renea Dawkins Dunlap (her husband, Angelo: 1 son, Allen Lee Dawkins, all of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
