Alline Flora Maxwell was born on February 19, 1942 in Scott, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of the late Smith and Flora Thomas.   Alline was called to rest at the graceful age of 80, on February 12, 2023.  She was the last and youngest surviving member of the Thomas Family.

Alline Maxwell served honorably in the United States Army as an intensive care nurse.  She received numerous awards and accolades during her service in the military.

She continued her education after retiring.  Alline went on to pursue and receive several certifications: Emergency Medical Technician(EMT), Alzheimer's Disease Level II, Domestic Violence, HIV/AIDS Training, Nurse Assistant Program, Nurse Aide I Refresher,  Beginning Computers for Seniors, Intermediate Computers for Seniors, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Dental Specialist Course.

Alline leaves her four children to cherish her memories: Aldrene McGill (Frederick) of Charlotte, NC; Debra Dunn (Terrance) of Jacksonville, NC; Barry Maxwell of Charlotte, NC and Nathaniel Maxwell Jr. of Anaheim CA; five grandchildren: Carletto McGill (Tasha), Anatesha Dunn (Ormar), Monique McGill (Qianna), Whitney Cabrera (Milton), Marques Dunn (Denise); six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
