Annie Galmon Jackson, 70 of Charlotte, took her wings on August 25, 2020.   She was born December 2, 1949 in Gaffney, South Carolina to Plymouth Galmon.

Annie attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.  She was a proud graduate of West Charlotte High School.  Annie also retired from CMS.

She was a member of Cathey Memorial AME Church where she served as church secretary.

Mrs. Jackson was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was loved by all and did not mind sharing her love with all whom she came in contract with, no matter what the situation.

She leaves behind two loving daughters, Angela Jackson and Gabrielle Jackson, both of Charlotte; her four grandchildren, Antoinette Lawing, Clarence B. Wright, Jaheim Jackson, Matthew Jackson, all of Charlotte; two sisters, Mary Galmon of Charlotte and Norma Jean Galmon of Connecticut; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives who loved and cherished her to the stars and beyond.
