Annie Belle Pettis, 89 of Charlotte, departed this life on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Saturn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on November 14, 1932 to Charlotte Hubbard Reid and Herman Reid.

Annie attended public school at Plato Price High School and worked for a local airport shop, SB&J Enterprise well into her 70's.  She was a proud member of New Creation Missionary Baptist Church.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Pettis, Sr.; mother, Charlotte Hubbard Reid; father, Herman Reid; eleven siblings, Mattie Reid Sortor, George Neal Reid, Janey Mae Reid Thompson, Herman Reid, Jr; Naomi Reid Alexander, Alberta Reid Reddick, Walter Reid, Julius "Wilbert" Reid, Frank R. Reid, Joanna Reid Bacto, and Jessie Reid Burch; and son, Carl Pettis, Sr.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories two children, Faye Pettis Broadie (Johnny), Harvey L. Pettis, Jr., both of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Ervin D. Reid (Joyce) and Joanna Reid Dunlap; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
