Mr. Anthony Ernest Taylor, 62, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his residence.

Anthony Ernest Taylor passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on August 13, 1962, in Branchville, Virginia.  He also lived in Georgia and North Carolina.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Herman Bonds; brother, David Taylor and mother, Fannie Taylor.

Although his name was Anthony, many of his friends in the neighborhood called him "Big Tony" or "Mr. T."  He tried to see the best in everyone and made everyone around him feel just like family.  Anthony truly had a love for people, especially his family, not only in word, but in deed.  He had an "open door" policy helping many who were in need.

Anthony was a faithful and spiritual man.  He became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1998 and pioneered in Augusta, Georgia, volunteering his time to help others learn about Jehovah God.  He was presently serving as a ministerial servant in the Hoskins Road Congregation.  Anthony was faithful to the end, working side by side with his wife, Sandy.  He loved his cookies and was affectionately known as the "Cookie Monster."

Anthony is survived by his wife, Sandy Taylor; and four children, Breanah Taylor, Tyreef Taylor, Shareef Taylor, Tatianah Taylor, who dearly loved him.  He is also survived by one brother, Jeffery Taylor (Rose) of Emporium, VA; sisters, Carolyn Taylor-Harroo (Carl) of Franklin, VA, Renise Stephens (Dupree) of Boykins, VA, Summer Waters (Mark) of Franklin, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Anthony will be dearly missed by the family.  Thanks to everyone for their love and support.
