Antonio Maurice Davis, affectionately known as "Zig" 42 of Charlotte, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the home of Henry and LaToya Adams.  He was born March 22, 1978 in Charlotte, NC to Ms. Cynthia Davis and the late Bob Hill.

Antonio was a graduate of Myers Park High School.  After graduation, he attended Real Estate School and became self-employed.  Zig was a Gentle Giant with a huge heart and was always there for family and friends when they needed him.  He was sweet, kind hearted and had a great sense of humor.  He always kept us laughing even through his illness.  He loved children because he was a big kid at heart.  His nieces, nephews and little cousins loved to see him coming because they knew that he was going to give them money.  He was a generous soul to everyone he knew.

His memories will be cherished by his mother, Cynthia Davis; sister, Rhonda Davis Carr (Randall), brother, Lavonte Davis, all of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Julie Hill and Maria Hill of Brooklyn, NY; surrogate parents, Terry and Margaret Rankin; surrogate siblings, LaToya Adams (Henry), Lisa Grimes, Terry Rankin, Jr., four aunts, Teresa Clinkscales, Deborah Blackmon, Lillie Mae Boyd, Eloise McClary; two uncles, Cliff David, Jr., Donald Blackmon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly; and a special person who was a mother figure to him, Ms. Lucille Morrison.
