Mr. Antonio LaMone Ruth, 41 of Asheville, NC passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2019 at his residence in Charlotte, NC. He was born June 9, 1978 to Anthony (Tony) Ruth and was raised and preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Helen Ruth.

He was diagnosed with renal cell carinoma in 2017, along with a life long battle with sickle cell anemia.  He did not lose his battle with cancer because he beat its butt back.  He fought for his life physically and with his faith all the way until God called him home

Antonio graduated from Asheville High School, class of "97" and from the ITT Technical Institute with Electronics degree.  After moving to Charlotte, Antonio worked at Okuma America in their board repair department for 20 years. He was a big Carolina Panthers fan and a Carolina Tarheels fan.  He loved playing basketball because he somehow thought he was a Muggsy Bogues.  He loved traveling or doing anything that got him out of the house and grew into loving motorcycles.

Antonio met Kalesha Ruth in 1996 and married his best friend in 2003.  The 2 of them created 2 wonderful kids, TyQuez Anthony Ruth, 21 (son) and Nevaeh Saliyah Ruth, 11 (daughter).  Antonio has 1 brother, Shun Simpson, 2 nieces, aunts, uncles, and many cousins that loved him.
