Arthur Lee Davis was born to Gillie Davis and Mary McKinnley on February 21, 1959 in Charlotte, NC. He peacefully said farewell to this earthly life on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, NC.

He was a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, NC class of 1977. After 12 long years he retired from Atrium Health as a patient transporter driver and Reese Brothers in Cornelius, NC.

Arthur was a lifelong member of Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he sung on the note choir.

He loved driving, singing, cooking, football, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He was a gentle and quiet person with a big heart.

Arthur's memory lives on through his loving wife and high school sweetheart Patricia along with his son Jacorey and daughters Charita, Alisha, and Amanda Davis all of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren Miyah, Mikiria, Jason, Jacory Jr., and Ariana: they were his pride and joy; his brothers Thomas (Vontina) Davis and Norman Davis all of Charlotte, NC; nephews Norman Jr., Diandre, Da'Shawn, Vincent Davis, and Kim of Charlotte, NC; nieces MarKida and Natasha Gantt of Griffin, GA, Sandra and Latrice of Charlotte, NC, and Victoria of Texas; great-nephew's Kai and Kenzo Davis; great-niece Kayden Davis and Alle Gantt; sisters-in-law Ella (Kevin) Gantt of Griffin, GA, Phyllis and Roxanna Pridgen of Huntersville, NC, and Levette (Arthur) Spear of Texas; and a number of dear loving cousins, friends, neighbors, and too many others to name.
