On this day, we are saying farewell to a very special lady, Betty Polk Blake.  Betty was a warm hearted, kind, generous woman who will be missed by anyone who knew her.

Betty was born on November 1, 1948 in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of the late John and Willie Mae Polk. She passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Earl Broadway, L.J. Polk and John Polk.

Left to cherish precious memories are her husband, Robert Blake; three daughters, Sharon Polk, Robin Polk and Shelia Davis (Dominic); four grandsons, Odren Polk, Alfreido D. Davis, Jr., Cameron J. Davis, Garrett B. Davis and one granddaughter, Xaria N. Davis; seven great-grandchildren, whom she adored; four sisters, Eva House, Earlene Camp, Norma Luckey and Melody Polk; sister-in-law, Joyce Hoskins; brother-in-law, Leroy Blake; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
