Mrs. Betty Miller, of 1831 Archdale Drive, departed this life on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at home.  Mrs. Miller was born on April 20, 1935 in Lancaster, South Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Odessa Warren and her husband, Rossie D. Miller.

Betty was a faithful member of GMSBC for over 30 years where she was a proud member of the Nurses Guild, The Storehouse Ministry and the Young at Heart.

Betty retired from Carolina's Healthcare System in 1997 and continued her service to the community by working in the Mecklenburg County School System.

She leaves to cherish very fond memories:  her devoted daughters, Karen Miller Hames and Brenda Miller Cook, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Johnny Deminds (Clarence) and one sister-in-law, Margie M. Brace; four grandchildren, Diana Miller, Kanika Cook (Donald), Jacqueline Cook, Ronald Leo Cook, Jr., all of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
