Mrs. Betty Lou Granger Myers, 82 of Charlotte, NC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Charlotte Health and Rehab Center.
Betty grew up in the Charlotte area and attended Mecklenburg County public schools. She graduated from J.H. Gunn/Clear Creek High School. She briefly attended Barber-Scotia College, before marriage and becoming a loving mother of her two daughters. Betty was also a supportive presence to many others, including the great work she did with the Mecklenburg County foster care program.
Betty was a faithful longtime member of New Hampton Presbyterian Church, where she dedicated her time, energy, and resources to the church until her health declined. While able she willingly served on the Chancellor Choir, Deacon Board, as a "Room At The Inn" missions worker/facilitator, Treasure of Presbyterian Womens Auxillary, and a dedicated member of the Usher Board. Friends, many of you here today have received them as gifts.
