Ms. Beverly Ann Compton, 59, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center.

Beverly Ann Compton was born on April 30, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Annie Ruth Newberry and Charles Renee Compton.  She was the only girl out of four children.  She was blessed with 59 years of life before she was called  home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Beverly received her early education in the Montgomery County School District in Dayton, Ohio.  In 1976, she relocated to Irvington, New Jersey, where she completed her education at Irvington High School.  In 1984, she met and fell in love with the late Vanny Jordon and from that union came Aleese.  In later years, she started her career at Wakefern Food Corporation, where she dedicated 30 year of her life, in which she formed so many great relationships and friendships.

Beverly loved her family.  She was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, grand-mother and wonderful friend.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Beverly is survived by her daughter Aleese (Herbert); two step-children, Tammy Rogers and Timothy Jordan; three brothers, Edward Jones, Steven Compton (Karen) and Shawn Compton; four grandchildren, Zaniyah Walker, Ariana, Zuri, and Amara Stokes; two special friends, Gwendolyn Britton-Green and Wendy Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
