Beverly Jean Anthony Lindsey, age 72, was the first-born child of the late Pearline Neal and James L Anthony Sr. She was born on May 11, 1950 in Charlotte NC. She departed her earthly life on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in the care of the Levine & Dickson Hospice House Huntersville NC surrounded by family. In addition to her parents, grand-parents, she is preceded in death by her three siblings: Myra Lucinda Anthony & Cheryl Denise Anthony, Sylvester Brooks.
Beverly joined and was baptized at Mount Camel Baptist church at an early age. She attended school in Mecklenburg County where she graduated from West Charlotte High school "DUB-C" class of 1968. She was a retired employee of Duke Energy and worked part time at Dandy Cleaners.
Beverly loved her family- her boys & granddaughters. She brought joy, love and laughter to all our family gathering. Although she witnessed the terrible tragic accident of her two sisters at a young age and it scarred her for life, she still found joy in the midst of it. She was always there with a listening ear and to give wisdom. She was truly a beautiful soul in spite of the challenges she faced and will be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her three sons: Travis Morrow, Terence Morrow and Maurice Lindsey. Two granddaughters: Anyiah and Cache` Morrow. Three brothers: James Anthony Jr (Hattie), Shelton Boyer and Jeffrey Grimes. Special Brother/cousin: Robert Trent Neal (Fran). Two Sisters: Willette Berryman (Gary) and Tasha Anthony. Sister-in-Law: Lisa Grimes. Two Great uncles: Ernest Neal & Cecil Neal. Great Aunt: Irene Lowery. Five Aunts: Carolyn Anthony Evans, Bobbie Jean Neal, Dorothy Allison, Geralene Hill, Helen Hairston and a host of relatives and friends.
