Bobby Jean Gill, 81 of Charlotte, departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 30, 1941 to the late Robert Gill and Rebecca Alexander Gill.

Bobby attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools; he attended Plato Price High School.  He was a long time and active member of Saint Paul Baptist Church.  Bobby worked at Consolidated Engravers as a machinist for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his son, Bobby Gill Jr.; his brothers, Harvey Gill and Andrew Parker; and sisters, Sallie Davis and Helen Gill.

Bobby Gill leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Ethel Neal Truesdale and Katrina Neal Chambers and one son, Ari El Bey; two brothers, Robert Gill (Nadine) and Johnny Parker (Julia); three sisters, Lois Gill, Rebecca Gill Judge and Carol Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
