Mr. Bobby McCrorey, 78, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Novant Presbyterian Main.

Bobby "Ricky" McCrorey, was preceded in death, by his devoted wife, Ruby G McCrorey.  Bobby was a beloved father, grandfather, brother/brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was also preceded in death by his son, Tony Davis; and brothers, Robert McCrorey and Jerry McCrorey.

He departed his earthly body, to be with the LORD on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00 a.m. Bobby was born on June 7, 1946, in Richburg, SC (Chester County), to the late William and Hattie Kee McCrorey.

Bobby was a graduate of West Charlotte High School.  He was employed with the City of Charlotte Water Department as a Dispatcher before retirement in 2011.  He enjoyed gardening and keeping his yard looking beautiful, watching all types of sports, attending Friday night high school football games, going on annual family beach trips (sitting on his balcony with his alcoholic drinks/smoking his cigarettes). He also looked forward to all the annual family holiday gatherings. He dad had a GREAT love for family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his loving daughters, Lisa McCrorey Nance (Carlton), Felecia Davis Carr (Kent); devoted sons, Alfric Lamar McCrorey, Roderic Reynard McCrorey; nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, as well as his special friend, Nellie G Roberts. He is also survived by his three brothers, William McCrorey (Penny), Roger McCrorey (K.K) and Melvin McCrorey (Linda); sister-in-law, Joyce McCrorey; and a host of other devoted family and friends.
