Bobby Roddey departed his life on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the age of 56. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Richard, Nadia Hudson, and four grandchildren.

Bobby Roddey was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 10, 1966. His surviving family members are his mother, Barbara Roddy, his sister, Felicia Roddey, and brother, Ricco Roddey. Bobby is pre-deceased by his father, Bobby Thomas.

Bobby attended Garinger High School and graduated in 1984. He began his life of work at the Charlotte Observer where he worked as a machine operator until 2016. Afterwards, he joined Amazon as a Transportation Assistant (TA).

Bobby was a musician and an avid lover of dance and music. He played guitar and drums. He was also a fan of cars, particularly mustangs. He kept his pristine and perfect.

Bobby was a witty, intelligent, artistic, honest, and reliable individual. He was known and respected by his co-workers, family, friends, and many throughout his community. He was always timely, precise, and proficient. Bobby leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
