Mr. Brenizer Addison Lytle Jr., 76, lovingly called "Butch," entered his eternal life on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Woltz Hospice House, Dobson, NC.
He was born February 27, 1945 to Brenizer A. Lytle, Sr. and Asalee Johnson Lytle. He attended Dunbar School, Mooresville, NC. He entered the United States Army shortly afterwards.
He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC. Until his decline of his health, he loved working in his community, especially the yearly Juneteenth activities and the Iredell Rowan Golfers Association. He really loved golf.
Brenizer was preceded in death by his wife, Ophelia; his parents; two sisters, Clara Clark and Patricia Linebarger and a grandson, Jaquel Lytle.
Those left to cherish his memories are one daughter, Tamisha Lytle (Joe) of Columbia, SC; one son, Shawn P. Lytle (Denise) of Orlando, FL; the mother of his children, Ms. Pauline Brown of Columbia, SC; two brothers, William Lytle (Rowena) of Charlotte, NC and Godfrey Potts of Huntersville, NC; three sisters, Barbara Smith of Huntersville, NC, Stephanie Lytle of Statesville, NC and Sadie Caldwell-McCombs (Willie) of Huntersville, NC; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; goddaughter, Betty Jones; special friend, Elizabeth Gregory; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
