Caroline Everett Bradshaw, 81 of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Atrium Health Main. She was born on April 23, 1941 to Walter James Everett, Sr. and Effie Pemberton Everett in Rockingham,  N.C.

Caroline accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age.  After relocating to Charlotte with her family she joined Greater Galilee Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board for over 30 years.

Caroline graduated from Leak Street school in 1958. She continued her education at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) where she earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Early Childhood Education in 1994, and an Associates Degree in Social Work in 1995.  She became a member of the Phi Lambda Chapter of  the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for each degree.

Caroline's professional career  began at Southern Bell Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator.  As Southern Bell became Bell South and later AT&T, her responsibilities included Service Representative and Electrical Technician.   Caroline also worked at Carolinas Medical Center  as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. She later worked at CPCC as an Administrative Assistant.  After retirement she worked at Joseph W. Grier Academy in the After School Enrichment Program, and Vision Home Care Services as a Counselor.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Effie; sisters Katherine E. McNear and Cynthia E. Burton; brothers Thomas Pemberton, Walter Everett, Jr., Fred Everett, Sr., and Dennis Everett, Sr.

Caroline leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her daughter Ivy M. Walker (Ron), sons William H. McDonald, Jr., Kenneth D. McDonald, and Kerry L. McDonald (Lynnelle); her grandchildren Patrice Hopkins, Antonio Hollis (Damarius), Omar Raiford; Sharie R. Daniels (Robert), Douglas Raiford, Andrew McDonald, Michael McDonald, Sydney Walker, and Adriane McDonald; her great grandsons, Chase, Jalani, Jovani, and Iverson; her siblings John Everett, Archie Everett, Sr., Donnie Everett, Sr., Diann E. White (James), Wesley Everett (Barbara), and Alfonza Everett, Sr. (Stephanie); her sister-in-law Lula Mae Pemberton, brother-in-law Fred McDonald, Sr. daughters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
