Ms. Carrie McCullough Corley, 87 of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday January 12, 2019 at Willow Ridge Assisted Living.

Carrie was born in Charlotte, NC on February 19, 1931.  She was the daughter of the late John Frank McCullough and Lucretia Montgomery McCullough.

Carrie was raised in Charlotte and was a homemaker for many years.

A long time member of Chappell Memorial Baptist Church, she was a dedicated Sunday School teacher.  Carrie was a good mother who enjoyed life and she loved her Mounds chocolate bars.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Corley; nine brothers and four sisters.  She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Reginald Corley (Jonaca); two grandchildren, Jakhari and Rashad Corley one great-granddaughter, Madi, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Bridges; sister-in-law, Margaret T. McCullough, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
