Ms. Carrie Whitlock Jeter, 75 of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday January 31, 2019 at her residence.  Carrie was born on August 10, 1943 and she was the daughter of the late Robert Moore and Ruby Whitlock Steele.  She was the wife of the late Sammy Jeter.

Carrie was a loving, and caring person anybody would ever meet.  She loved going to church and being mother of her church.  She was very welcoming and a helping hand to those in need.  She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family; she kept a smile on everyone's face.  Carrie will greatly be missed by all of those who knew her.

Missing her, but letting her go are her children, Cynthia Campbell (James), Sammy Jeter (Carol), Sherry Jeter (James), Devonda Jeter (Lashawnda), Samantha (Andre), Tavares (Joan), and Quinetta, all of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Willie Williams of Rock Hill, SC, Lonnie (Bonnie), Dennis (Nita), of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Shirley Steele of Rock Hill, SC, and Maggie Hardin of Clarksville, TN, twenty-one grands, fifteen great-grands, three sister-in-law, Gladice Jeter of New York City, Rose Williams, and Ricky Williams of Rock Hill, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three of her children; Angela Rene, Sharon Annette, and Willie Lewis.
