Cassandra Williams Hunter, 75 of Charlotte, departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Wilora Lake Healthcare Center. Daughter of the late Otis A. Williams and Hattie Cherry Williams, was born July 23, 1947.

Cassandra was a 1965 class graduate of West Charlotte High School.  She attended UNC-Greensboro, NC and worked for the City of Charlotte, Public Service and Information Department.

She is survived by a sister, Denise W. Johnson; a niece, Deon Johnson; a great-niece, Taya Johnson; three great-nephews, Leon Johnson, Aaron Sturdivant, Elijha Sturdivant; a special friend, Butch Perry and many relatives and friends.
