Catherine "Kat"  Moore Davis, 88 of Charlotte, passed away on September 18, 2019 at her residence.  She was born May 7, 1931 to the late Solomon and Eunice Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Eunice Adams; five brothers, Mack Moore, James Moore, Floyd Moore, Melvin Moore and Arthur Moore; and three sisters, Willie Mae Moore, Jessie Thompson and Elizabeth Foster.

Catherine M. Davis was a graduate of Torrence Lytle High School.  She retired from domestic work.  You could find Kat enjoying planting and growing flowers.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Curtis Davis, Benjamin Davis, Jr., Christine Maxwell and Maxine Gray (Vincent); one sister, Erma Moore; four grandchildren, Shontil Gray, Serena Bryant, Andrea Davis, Ana Regura; two great-grandchildren, Jamarcus and Braylon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
