Cathy Jane Morrison, 59 of Charlotte, departed this life on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Huntersville Oaks. She was born on January 26, 1962 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Charlotte, NC.  She is preceded in death by her father, Calvin Odell Carothers; her brother, Calvin Michael Carothers; and her mother, Janice Wallace Carothers.

Cathy is survived by her sister, Deborah Coley; her niece, Monica Straite; her great-nephew, Terrence Ross and her boyfriend, Rodney Neal.

Cathy grew up in southwest Charlotte in the Westerly Hills neighborhood.  She graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1979.  She also attended Central Piedmont Community College.  Cathy was employed for 23 years at Atrium Health as a Patient Coordinator until her health declined.  She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
