Chantel Moniece Mack, 36 of Charlotte, departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Chantel was born December 24, 1985 to Stacey Diane McArthur in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She attended the Philadelphia public schools.

Chantel was a hard working server and bartender who was dedicated to her son, Jysaire.  She was full of life and had a presence about her that lit up any space she entered.  She loved spending time with her younger nieces and nephews and would often take them out to do things.  She had the biggest heart and would do anything for her family and friends.

Chantel was a straight shooter, which is probably why she was so good at pool.  She won numerous tournaments and trophies that showed her talent and love for the sport.  She also loved doing hair and had a flair for creating unique styles that her family and friends often sported.

Chantel leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  Her bright energy and hilarious sense of humor will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Stacey Diane McArthur; brother, Brian Cook; and sister, Turquoise Mack.

Her life will be forever cherished by son, Jysaire; siblings, Anthony, Natasha, Shakera, Brittany, Khadijah, Yamina, Nadir, Tina, Dontez, Sephonne, Taneisha, Jordan, De'Janay, Jovani, and Jordin; father, Darrius; grandmothers, Bernice and Barbara; grandfathers, Larry and Ernest; boyfriend, Shaun; and long time friend, Ayel; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
