Charlena M. Hankerson CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Charlena Mclendon Hankerson passed away on May 23, 2014, at Avante of Charlotte. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 1401 Allen St., Charlotte, NC 28205. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Grier Funeral Service of 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte, NC is serving the family
