Charles Anderson, a.k.a Crazy Legs, 70 of Charlotte, left for eternal rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Atrium Health Main.  He was the son of Charles Kinard and Viola Kimbell, was born on April 25, 1951.

Charles was the leader of the Devilish 9 step group in the 60's.  He was a member of the United Council for Change.  He worked for A-1 Plaster Company for many years.

Charles is survived by his wife, Lavonne Haynes Anderson; three sisters, Doris Anderson, Angela Brown, Bernice Anderson and one brother, Veotis Anderson; two sons, Charles LaWarren Anderson and Thomas S. Haynes; three daughters, Viola l. Rodgers, Tangerlars Watson and Charnett Anderson Dickerson; five grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
