Charles Lamont Davidson, Jr., 51 of Charlotte, departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Atrium Health Mercy. He was born October 26, 1970 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Charlie Porter Davidson Sr. and Anita Louise Craig. Charles grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina with his family. In his early years, he attended Lakeview Elementary School and later, Wilson Junior High School and then Harding High School. For continuum education, he attended Central Piedmont Community College.
Chares was a very hard-worker. In his youth, he worked in the food service industry for Bojangles Inc. and Amity Garden Cafeteria. After leaving the food service industry, he worked for Barnhart Manufacturing and later Advanced Imaging where he would meet his soon to be wife Hope Louallen, the two married on July 21, 2007. He would spend his later years working in security. He was a Supervisor for Security Service of America and the Budd Group.
Charles had multiple skills and talents. He was a computer and IT expert. Charles was also an inspiration figure in the music industry. He was a rapper, manager and producer. His talents lead him into becoming the owner of Aquinox Entertainment. Charles will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was deeply loved and admired by many.
Charles worshipped with his family under the leadership of Rev. L.D. Jeffrey at Union Missionary Baptist Church. As a youth while attending Union Missionary Baptist Church, Charles was part of his mother's youth choir called the Gospel Messengers. Charles would later join Park Wood C.M.E. under the leadership of Rev. Medcaft, Rev. Lewis and Rev. Jones.
He was preceded in death by his father Charlie P. Davidson, his mother (Anita C. Davidson), brother, (Mario Davidson) and sister (Tawana Murdaugh).
He leaves behind to cherish his memories by his beloved wife, Hope Davidson. His sons, Lakeem and Jermaine of Charlotte, NC.; His daughters Jasmine, Tatyana, Katelyn and Cherrelle of Charlotte, NC; Grandsons Kaleb, West, and Camden and granddaughter Zh'Nya. His brothers in laws and sisters in laws. His Aunt Blandy Davidson and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
