Cheryl Yvette Cox, 44 of Apex, NC, departed this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC, with her loving family at her side.

Cheryl was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 6, 1978, daughter of Carline Armstrong and the late William Henry Armstrong, Sr.

Cheryl was a graduate of Garinger High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She was a well loved Speech Pathologist for Mecklenburg County and Wake County.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Charlie Elizabeth Cox (13) and Samantha Yvette Cox (11); her mother, Carline Armstrong; her brother, William Henry Armstrong Jr. "Sport", and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and dear friends.

Cheryl will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
