Christina Ratliff, 34, of Mt. Holly departed this life on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at her residence.
Christina Ratliff was born to Otis Sutton and Angel Ratliff on August 30, 1988, in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a child, Christina attended The Greater Saint James United Church of God, alongside her great-grandfather and grandparents. She then grew a relationship with God at an early age and rededicated her life to Jesus as a young adult. She attended Bama Mini School, Briarwood Elementary and Harding High School. She grew up playing basketball, drums, and she ran track.
Christina met her husband, Lawrence Williams, in 2012 at the Hup-In convenience store off Milton Road in Charlotte, NC. A month later they got married on September 12, 2012. They enjoyed family functions, attending church, going shopping to outlets and malls, and eating crab at their favorite restaurant Crafty Crab.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Christina also enjoyed hair styling, playing spades cards, loving on her dog Whitey, cooking, dancing, singing, and growing her green plants like her Mimi. Her major attribute was giving, whether it would be her time, money, or material items. She and her husband Lawrence were both known by their pastors for giving faithfully, especially their tithes. Throughout Christina's entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which allowed her to share with those who surrounded her by words of encouragement, comforting those who may be hurting and/or praying for them. She later worked as a nurse at Woodhaven Nursing Home where she loved her patients and staff. Her ongoing vision was to become a registered nurse and own her own business. She was extremely loved by her neighbors in her community at Holly Hills Apartments.
Christina Danielle Ratliff entered God's Kingdom on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in her home at the age of 34. Christina joins in Heaven. Lee Jr. Ratliff (great-grandfather), Eula Mae Ratliff (great-grandmother), Donnie Grier (grandfather), James Lee Ratliff (great-uncle), Judy Robinson (great-aunt).
