Ms. Christine C. Robertson, 67 of Charlotte, passed away on October 22, 2019 at Novant Health-Huntersville Medical Center.  She was born August 19, 1952 in Marion, Ohio, to the late Marion and Mary Jane Cofer.

Christine received her formal education at Harding High School in Marion, Ohio and received her Bachelors degree at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.

She was faithful and dedicated educator for 38 years and retired from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools in 2015.  She taught at West Mecklenburg Senior High School from 1985 to 2000 and Harding High School from 2000 to 2015.  She was known to not take any mess and demand excellence from every student.  All of her "Lil Boo's" or "Children" can testify that she played an important role in many of their lives.  She loved all of her students and would do anything for them.

Christine really enjoyed spending time with her family and doting on them.  She was the best story teller and never met a stranger.  After retiring, she enjoyed playing the slots and living her life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Jr., Robert Louis and Jerry Lee Cofer; and sisters, Annette, Mary Ellen, and Rosabell Cofer.

She leaves to celebrate her memory her daughter, Tashina Spears and son-in-law, Antonio Spears; granddaughter, Tashea Spears, all of Charlotte; four sisters, Mosell, Bessie Lee, Margie and Carla Cofer, all of Austin, TX; nine sisters-in-law, six brothers-in-law, and host of nieces, nephews, close friends, all of the children whom she taught.
