Mr. Chuckey Mullins, 59 of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1961, in Mullins, South Carolina, and attended Mullins High School. He attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina and earned several program certificated as a machinist.
He was a member of First Baptist Church-West, First Fellowship of Charlotte and attended Catawba Presbyterian Church in Huntersville, North Carolina, as their percussionist.
He was a quiet person, faithful friend, who enjoyed helping others. He loved music, playing golf and riding motorcycles. He was a supportive and loving husband.
Chuckey leave to continue his legacy and cherish fond memories his loving and dedicated wife, Janet Garner-Mullins of the home; his mother, Carolyn Ford Mullins; his children, Rekeda Jones (Cornelius), Shaunte Mullins (Jasmine), Shamahl Mullins (Alicia), Brandon Platt and Shauna Fryson; his grandchildren, Marquez and Marquan Hubbard, Tyshon, Lorenzo, Maurice and Jasalene Mullins and Jai'Shon, Bryce and Ryan (RJ) Mullins; his great-grandchild, Carson Gilliam Hubbard; his siblings, Patricia Fedina (Thomas), Claudette Wilson (Albert), Christine Gerald, Curtis Mullins (Tabatha), Jackie Vandroff; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His father Clifton Mullins, and brother, Cleveland Mullins preceded his in death.
