Ms. Comfort Kukor Teah of Charlotte, NC, transitioned from this earthly life on March 19, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. She was born on March 13, 1954, in Monrovia, Liberia to the late Samuel J. Teah and Mary Doe.
Comfort Kukor Teah was known for her hard work since the age of eleven. From that point on she grew up to be the back bone of the family where she financially supported all of her family and friends! Comfort gave so freely and willingly they labeled her MA COMFORT because of the good heart she had and the loved she poured into others!
Although Comfort was raised in Monrovia, Liberia and completed all of her schooling there, she ventured into the United States with her brother Anthony Teah resided. He helped her to successfully transition from her former employer Dobbs to LSG Sky Chef. Comfort enjoyed her life in the United States.
Comfort was a breath of fresh air, always smiling, and brightening up any room! She was a sunflower that stood ten feet tall with a radiant light that surrounded her even a dark room.
Psalm 73:26 was her favorite "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and portion forever. Our beloved Comfort had faith and she is now at peace; freed of all external and internal suffering. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel J. Teah and Mary Doe, and older sister Swende Teah, and the Great Anthony Teah, and her daughter, Ague Blanton.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories Melina Teah, Cyrus Teah, Agustin Teah, David Teah, and Sam Teah, nine surviving children, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
