Mrs. Cynthia Wallace Smith, 64, of Charlotte, passed away on January 17, 2016 at her residence. She was a retired school teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System.  Survivors include daughters, Terressa Toland-Cole of Las Vegas, NV, Zandra Smith of Charlotte; grandsons, Caesar Toland, Jarett Cole; life partner, Herbert Mitchem of Charlotte; brother, Caesar Wallace (Janice) of Charlotte.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until the time of the service.  Interment will be at Beatties Ford Memorial Garden on Monday, January 25th at 1:00 p.m.
