Darrell Carmichael Falls (affectionally known as "Duck" or "Quack") was born on February 9, 1955 to the late Eugene Crawford and Mary Falls in Charlotte, North Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Duck was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system and in the Hackensack, New Jersey school system. He was a carpenter by trade.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Deborah Falls of Hamlett, SC; one daughter Jacqueline Phillips of Charlotte; one grandson, Ladarius Earl; one aunt Willette Boyd; one uncle Robert (Gloria) Falls; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
