Mr. Darryl F. Moore, 59, of Lancaster, SC, departed this life on November 9, 2024, at Atrium Health Pineville.

Darryl Fitzgerald Moore, 59, transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born on July 3, 1965, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to James Edward Moore Sr. and Carolyn Maxine Williams Moore.

Darryl was a devoted husband to Pamela Diane Hayes Moore and a proud father to his children, Marcus Deron Moore, Darryl Jordan Moore, and Raygon Elizabeth Moore. He was the cherished brother of James Edward Moore Jr. and Heather Elizabeth Moore McNeil, and a beloved uncle to his nephews, Trenten James McNeil and Channing Colby McNeil, and his nieces, Mykel Bryant Moore Whitlock and Kendal Cade McNeil.

He was the loving nephew of Ruby Lee (Williams) Johnson and Gloria Juanita (Williams) Hernandez, and cousin to Derdick Randolph Johnson, Rhonda Louise Johnson, Kelly Joy Johnson, Jennen Ceclia Hernandez, and Miguel Williams Hernandez. He was also a treasured son-in-law, cousin, and uncle to his extended in-law family in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

After growing up in Charlotte, Darryl moved to Indian Land, South Carolina, where he and Pamela raised their family. He attended Olympic High School before serving honorably in the U.S. Army. A hardworking man, Darryl was the owner of D&P Trucking Company and worked for the Fort Mill School District.

Darryl was passionate about helping others, often sharing his wisdom and encouragement. He had a natural gift for connecting with people and could talk to anyone.

Darryl loved to travel and had a special fondness for tropical destinations, often relaxing in paradise with his wife and children. He also cherished the company of his dog, Moe, who brought him great joy and comfort.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Darryl especially loved cheering for his Michigan Wolverines - Go Blue! He also had a deep appreciation for cars and treasured the time he spent with family and friends.
