Mr. David Charles Williams, Jr., 69 of Charlotte, departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian - Main.  He was born to the late David Charles Williams Sr and Gwendolyn Moore.  He attended West Charlotte Senior High School.  For many years, he worked in construction and as a painter.

David was full of life and laughs.  He always had the same since of humor.  There was never a dull moment with him.  If you needed to hear the truth or just needed to laugh David was that man.  He was loved by family and friends.

David is survived by his loving mother, Gwendolyn Williams; two daughters, Kujuana Williams (Tim), and Yolonda Bush (Glenn); one son, Davon Hood; five sisters, Cynthia Johnson, Linda Moore (Spin), Christine Walton (Paul), June Crawford (Pete), and Shirley Coleman (Michael); four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
