Ms. Deborah Ann Taylor Velasquez, 61 of Matthews, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Novant Health-Matthews. She was born December 10th to the late Apostle Willie Taylor Jr and Mildred Small Brown.  Her name was placed on the House of Prayer role at birth.  Deborah was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system receiving her diploma from Metro High School.

In addition to her Parents, Deborah was preceded in death by three sisters, Robyn Taylor Brown, Gwendolyn Perry and Cynthia Gillens and brother Willie Bernard Taylor (Billy).  Deborah leaves to cherish her memories, a very devoted daughter, Jessica Miller, three (3) Sons, Allen Taylor, Christopher Taylor and Rodger Miller all of Charlotte, NC, two sisters, Sandra Taylor Steele (Nathaniel) of Stone Mountain, GA and Sylvia Brown of Charlotte, NC.  Six brothers, Johnny Ray Taylor, Gregory Jerome Taylor (Sheila), Phillip D. Brown (Anel), Vernon T. Brown (Veronica), all of Charlotte, NC, Danny Taylor and Michael Taylor both of Washington, DC.  Three Aunts, Bernice Hampton, Claudette Walker and Johnsie L. Small all of Charlotte.  Two uncles Robert (Bobby) Small and Franklin Ray Small both of Charlotte.
