Derrick Evans passed was born in Gary, Indiana on June 12, 1958. He died peacefully on July 23, 2015. Derrick was preceded in death by his mother, Flossie. He is survived by his loving father, Jessie Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Margie and their daughters, Millani, Samirrah, and Kailynn; daughter, Trelles; brother, Jessie and wife, Barbara; brother, Mario and wife, Dorothy, and sisters, Canary Mason, Evelyn Adkins, and Rogeta McKanders. Derrick is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many spiritual brothers and sisters. Service will be held on July 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8128 Harrisburg Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.
