Miss Destani Monique Hamilton was born January 1, 1997 in Charlotte, NC. She entered into eternal rest on Thursday September 10, 2020.

Destani was affectionately called "Moo Moo" by family and close friends. She graduated from Myers Park High School, Class of 2015. After graduation, she completed a phlebotomist certification. She attended The Church of Jesus Christ and was baptized in Jesus' name.

Destani had a creative style that was inspired by the world around her. She had passion for singing, dancing, fashion, and music. She leaves a legacy of love with all those who were blessed to know her.

She is preceded in death by her sister Twyla.

She is survived by her loving parents, Jeffery Hamilton (Priya) and Vonda Steward (Darryl); her grandfathers Moses, Amin, Akbar, and grandmothers, Mary and Yvonne; three brothers, PJ, Samson, and Solomon and three sisters, Asia, Sheena and Shana and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
