Mr. Devonne Lamonte Smith, 43 fondly called Snook, Teardrop, was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2020.

Born July 22, 1976 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the beautiful Eva Lilly and Robert Mitchell.

Devonne is survived by his father, Robert (Sylvia) Mitchell wife of 9 years Yvonne Smith and four daughters, Latigre Adams, Amarisha Adams, Amani Clyburn and Ramika Spencer.  His brothers, Robert Smith, Theoplis Smith, and Pierre (Jennie) Accor.  His sisters, Sugar Smith, Penney (DeMarrco) Smith and Charlene Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina; three grandchildren; special cousins, Alicia Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was happiest when in the company of family and friends.  He loved peanut butter.  He was well-known for his love for dogs.  He will be greatly missed and remembered for protecting  his family, keen sense of humor and love for music.
