Diane McClelland, 62 of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday May 9, 2019.  She was born to the late Floyd E. McClelland and Laura Elizabeth McClelland on May 9. 1957 in Huntersville, NC.

Diane attended Independence High School in Charlotte, NC where she was a cheerleader.  After high school she was employed by Cannon Mills for over 20 years, and continued working for them as they transitioned to Fieldcrest Cannon, Pillowtex before the company closed their doors for good.

Diane was a hard worker and loved to laugh and have fun with her family and friends.

She loved working in the yard and her favorite flower was a sunflower.  She loved her grandchildren and always wanted to give them what she had.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd E. McClelland and Laura Toler.

Those left to cherish fond memories of her are: Son, Jermaine Angelo McClelland (Joi), three Brothers, Floyd McClelland, Jr., Johnny Lee Barnette, Jr., (Renea), Marvin Cornelius Barnette (Liz), four half brothers and sisters, Wanda, Michelle, Angela, and Bernard of Statesville, NC; two granddaughters, Jole' and Kayla McClelland, nine nieces and nephews, Adasha, Sharmine, DaSaray, Falicia, Tatyana, Mark, Janae, Johnny III, and Jeremiah.
