Dominique Simone Rucker-Shivers, 32, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on May 31st, 2024.

Dominique was born on January 26th, 1992, to Donald Lee Rucker & Ailisa Denise Reid in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Olympic High School and later Central Piedmont Community College. Dominique was a hard worker and an adventurous chef that enjoyed the high-pressure environment of a busy prep line.

Dominique was preceded in death by her natural parents, Ailisa & Donald. She is survived by her adoptive mother, Mary Louise Shivers, brothers Maceo Dontae Rucker-Shivers of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Robert Lee Rucker-Shivers of Charlotte, North Carolina and sisters Superior Shivers, Veronica Maxwell and Joanna Simonson, all of Charlotte, North Carolina. She also leaves behind a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and close friends.
