Mr. Donald McAdams known as "Duck", 68 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday April 15, 2019 at his residence.  He was born in Charlotte on June 2, 1950 to the late Boss McAdams and Elizabeth Cox McAdams.

He attended First Ward Elementary, Piedmont Junior High and graduated from Second Ward High School.  Donald was married to Mrs. Ferry Scarborough McAdams.  He loved and provided for his family.  He was employed at Latten Carryout Service America and retired at Canteen Compass Group in 2007.

Donald was preceded in death by his older brother, Mr. Robert Lee McAdams, younger sister, Mrs. Barbara Jean McAdams Garris (Larry); niece, Miss Sanita McAdams, and nephew, Mr. Robert Depree McAdams all of Charlotte, NC.

Donald leaves to cherish the memory of his life are his children:  Cynthia McAdams, Donald McAdams, Jr., Dameon Akin, Maurice Akin; grandchildren, Lola Ardrey; Lil Maurice Akin, Eric Cash, Coyil Dixon and long time beloved friend, mother of two of his children, and care taker Miss. Paula Akin, and his siblings: Gary, Lang, Sarah, Carolyn and Pamela (Michael) and a host of other relatives and friends.
