Mr. Donnie Eugene Jackson, 69, of Salisbury, NC, departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC.

Mr. Donnie Eugene Jackson, the son of the late Mrs. Mary Louise Duncan Jackson and the late Eugene Jackson, was born on November 23, 1954, and departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

Mr. Jackson served the Lord at the Seed of Faith Ministry where he was introduced to Pastor Nathaniel Williams.  Mr. Jackson always had a "can do" attitude.  He was a very loving and very giving individual.  He never complained, always smiling, and always dressed very sharp.

He worked at the Veterans Hospital for 20 years in Salisbury, NC and also served in the United States Army for four years (1975-1979).

He is survived by his aunts, Vera E. Young of Charlotte, NC, Kewpy L. Harrison of Buffalo, NY, and Shirley Duncan of Charlotte, NC; his uncle, Harris L. Duncan of Long Island, NY; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
