Doris Neal Anderson, daughter of Mason Anderson and Viola Kimble, was born April 26, 1949, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She transitioned to eternal life on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Atrium Health Hospital Cabarrus in Concord, North Carolina.

Doris Anderson attended Second Ward High School in Charlotte, NC. She worked doing hospitality, hostess, Salvation Army, and welding. In 1970, she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey.

Doris Anderson had a very strong personality. She meant what she said when she put her mind to something, that's what she meant. She was loved by everyone. She will be forever in our hearts.

Doris Neal Anderson is survived by her sisters, Angela Anderson Brown, Bernice Anderson and Veotis Anderson, three daughters, Teresa Anderson, Charlene Anderson and B.J. Masana Anderson Thompson; seven grandchildren and a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law. She was also loved by Bhumi.
