Mrs. Dorothy Jean Bease, 91, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2025, at her residence.

The call to eternal peace and rest came to Sis. Dorothy Wilson Bease on Monday, July 28, 2025, as she was surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 10, 1933, daughter of the late William Wilson, Sr. and Odessa Allen Wilson.

Mrs. Bease was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Bease; her son, Jimmy Wilson; and her siblings, William Wilson, Jr., Walter Wilson, Hattie Wilson Clark, Catherine Wilson Dunham, Margaret Wilson Butler, Catherine Wilson Dunham, Margaret Wilson Butler, Ozella Wilson Hart, and Lovell Wilson.

Her memory will always be cherished in the hearts of her children, Diane Wilson, Alma Wilson, Lewis Wilson, and Lorna Wilson.  She also leaves to mourn their loss her eight grandchildren, Julius Wilson, Roberta Starks, Antonio Wilson, Brian Starks, Brandi Starks, Charita Davis, Justin Evans, and Jaquisica Wilson; sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; as well as a brother-in-law, Shannon Dunham, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
