Drake "Blue" Worley, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on May 2, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital at the age of 72.

Drake was born in Charlotte, NC on January 30 of 1948. He enlisted in the military in Buffalo, New York in 1970. He served in Newark NJ, Augusta GA, Okinawa Japan, and Fort Hood TX. From there he returned to Charlotte and attended Central Piedmont Community College. He retired from Parks Cheverolet as a car salesman in 2009. He was clean and sober for 30 years and was a devoted AA/NA member.

Drake enjoyed playing dominos with friends and watching football.

Drake is predeceased by Jethro Worley Sr. (father), Martha Worley (mother), Eleanor Worley (sister), and Gwendolyn Worley (sister).
Drake is survived by Wanda Worley (spouse), Yolanda Elmore and Scheritta Worley (daughters) of Buffalo NY, Melody Worley and Martha Worley (daughters) of Charlotte NC, Amanda Watson (daughter) of Charlotte NC, Rodricus Watson Worley (son) of Charlotte NC, Denise Morris (sister), Jethro Worley Jr. (brother; Sylvia Worley), Karen Robertson (sister; Veronica Robertson), and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews..
